weaning to 365 days weight

Total = Directly effect for the animals growth from birth to 365 days weight

M = Maternally quality:
Birth M = Maternally value for birthweight (Sirs/cows daughters ability to give a large calf)

200 d. M = Maternally value for growth until weaning (Sirs/cows daughters ability to give a high weaning weight)

Breeding values over 100 means that the animal genetics has higher weights than the average for the breed.

That's positive for growth value, but negative for birth weight value.
